THINKING OUT LOUD
The Carl Cherry Center for the Arts is pleased to announce its 21st Annual High School Art Show, Thinking Out Loud. Thinking Out Loud is an exhibit of student art-work in a wide-range of media--from painting, drawing, ink-relief, sculpture and collage-- by high school students from throughout Monterey County.This year’s exhibit will be held March 6th through March 28th, 2010. This important event demonstrates to the community the vitality of art in Monterey County High Schools. As in the past, art teachers will be the primary jurors of the works submitted by students.
Get Creative! The world around us is a place of endless fascination, fun and facts. We hope you will learn some new ways to explore your neighborhood, parks, schoolyard, backyard and wild places with the help of Thinking Out Loud.
The exhibit is free and open to the public, and can be viewed Monday through Friday from 11 to 4p.m. Reception will be held for the student artists on March 6th from 4 to 6 p.m.
