EXHIBITS
The Carl Cherry Center for the Arts sponsors 12 diverse visiting artists throughout the year. The majority of these exhibits have been selected, organized, and curated by the Cherry Center and range from historical to contemporary art, including painting, photography, ceramics, assemblage and sculpture.
Emphasis is placed on emerging and experimental artists from the Monterey Bay area, with regional group exhibits and exhibits generated by theme. Additionally, the Cherry Center annually hosts community-wide group exhibitions, student exhibits, and other special art events.
The Cherry Gallery is open from 11:00 to 4:00 PM Monday-Friday, and by appointment. We invite you to view our exhibits free of charge. Visitors are welcome in the Sculpture Garden from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily. Donations are gratefully accepted.
